Artisan Made Monday : Chic + Modern Preserved Floral Arrangements

 

Today on Artisan Made Monday, I found the most magnificent preserved floral arrangements I have ever seen from Flores Del Sol.  No water needed! Ever. Can you believe it? The arrangements are a mixture of preserved flowers, moss and parchment paper roses. Utterly stunning. 

Just who is behind these gorgeously modern pieces of beautifulness? The lovely Tina Moreno, a creative mother of two sweet girls who holds a Bachelors degree in Horticulture, Emphasis in Floral Design, Art and Business from Brigham Young University-Idaho.  Tina loves "vintage, especially funky upcycled decor and old floral design + plant books".  She also loves photography, which is evident in her elegantly styled shoppe photos.  Tina's modern designs are inspired by nature and the beauty around her, and she loves interesting textures and using both vintage and modern containers as a base for her art.  After seeing these, which will stay beautiful forever, who would want a regular floral arrangement ever again?!

Such a very fitting occupation for a woman who, as a little girl, used to "head out into the woods and fields by [her] home with a flowery Estee Lauder bag containing scissors and tape to 'create' things". 

Very fitting, indeed.

Today's Artisan Made Monday post features Nella Designs, a company offering modern paper goods of all kinds: art prints, business cards, wedding invitations, you name it!  The graphic designer behind it all, Elizabeth Allen, hails from South Carolina and creates fun, bold and unique pieces that will bring a smile to whomever will receive them.

I just love looking at them all.  They could be purchased for so many occasions, destined to be a hit at any shower, for sure!  I just love the timeless silhouette paired with the modern colors and typography.  So fresh!

Artisan Made Monday: MissMosh

 

For this super-quick Artisan Made Monday post, I chose a shoppe that frankly, just makes me happy looking at it!  MissMosh features the most cheery pillows I have ever seen. The shoppe has pillows of all textures as well as greeting cards and other fabric goods here and there, too. Miss Mosh herself, is currently obsessed with summer-infused colors, textures, bountiful gardens and sweet nostalgic vintage.  Flowers are, of course, an ever-present influence in her designs as well. 

When she's not making these happy creations, 'Miss Mosh' may be found having tea and scones, indulging in her love of big bags or knee-high boots, or of course, hanging with her 'super cute supportive hub'.  How sweet is that?

Colour and texture draw me in, so of course I enjoyed perusing every inch of MissMosh.  I hope you did too!

Artisan Made Monday : Fairy Davis

  

I am so very pleased to announce that the first ever Artisan Made Monday is spotlighting a woman with not only a heart of gold, but also one whose talent flows with seemingly effortless grace from her fingertips. I adore her and have always admired her work, the one and only Tammy Tutterow of Fairy Davis Fancy Goods.

 Just where does the Fairy Davis name come from, you ask? Tammy was perusing aisles of vintage goodness at a flea market in her hometown of Springfield, Missouri in the late nineties and happened upon two vintage photo albums filled with photos of a young girl named 'Fairy'...  Instant. As the daughter of a professional artist, Tammy's art and hobby supply-infused life led her to her love of ribbon.  Even as a child, she recalls gazing at the rows of ribbon at Walmart, and though she has dabbled in everything from scrapbooking to creating home decor items, Tammy has always found a way to incorporate ribbon into everything she has created.  When she is not surrounded by bits of vintage trims and opulent silk ribbon, you might just find her playing in the dirt in her flower garden or scouring flea markets for old treasures.

At Fairy Davis Fancy Goods, one will find a stunning assortment of heirloom-quality baby bonnets, brooches, pillows, bridal bags, embellished photo frames, and much more.  Fancy, indeed.
