I found Shop Sweet Lulu after clicking on a link posted on Twitter last week, so I promptly emailed it to myself on my iPhone and have been saving it to share with you on a rainy day. It's not exactly rainy outside, but it is snowy. And cold. And, I've been up since 5am (On a Sunday, no less. Goodness.) because I was wide awake and couldn't fall back asleep... So, here I am.
Shop Sweet Lulu offers the ever-popular striped paper straws, an array of birthday candles (The pink and white polka dot ones are my favorite!) and a nice selection of chic treat bags...among other packaging goodies, too! (Think washi tape and bakers twine.)
This is definitely the type of little shop that makes one want to throw a party for the sole purpose of having an excuse to purchase and arrange all of these fun little party accessories!
Now, for some snowy weekend highlights:
*Loved the snowy footprints left by a little bird when taking shelter under our grill: http://yfrog.com/hs4xzqzj.
*Mama / son reading time under a cozy quilt on the couch. Right now, he's loving the Encyclopedia Brown series. I caught up on my devotional reading and this week's pregnancy chapter.
*Nightly Facetime on our iPhones while Jason has been away at Drill. What did we do before iPhones?!
*Little man being able to swim at a hotel pool while the rest of Northwest Arkansas was snowed in with cabin fever.
*Today? I'm 31 weeks pregnant! Nine(ish) more weeks to go...
*Tonight? A Superbowl party!
Now, it's time for me to do some housework and figure out which team we're rooting for so I can make cookies frosted in the team's colors!
