I'm so glad today is the first day of autumn! After the megahot summer temperatures we have had, I'm very much looking forward to not only the cooler weather, but also the autumn-y things we do each year: riding on a hayride, roasting marshmallows, knitting and sewing more (well, I do), watching old black and white Halloween-themed movies and carving pumpkins...
What autumn traditions do you have?

I love this time of the year, but the only downfall is that there is so much to do and not enough time to do everything! I just saw a billboard for one of the pumpkin patches near me, so I think the hubby and I will do that this weekend or take a scenic drive somewhere......

I love autumn too, my favorite season. My favorite part of the season is the cool weather and how it leads into the holiday season. I love cooking one pot crockpot dishes and sitting in front of the fireplace.
