This project was SO easy to make and now has a holiday home above the window behind our Christmas tree. I like how it adds visual interest to the plain garland I already had wrapped around the curtain rod.
Supplies:
Vintage Images (I cut them out of patterned scrapbook paper, however there are endless royalty-free options online.)
Neutral-colored cardstock
Adhesive (I used hot glue.)
Twine
Directions: After cutting out the images, fold several pieces of cardstock horizontally. Adhere the images to where the top of each image rests along the fold of the cardstock. Cut out. Each image should be on the front of what looks like a tent-shaped place card. Add a line of hot glue on the inside of the tent fold, insert twine, and hold for a few seconds. After it has cooled, glue the front and back of the cardstock together on the inside. Adhering in this fashion will prevent the images from sliding around on the twine. Be sure to leave enough twine length on each end to tie securely.
I hope you enjoyed this! Have a wonderful week!
