What is even dreamier than bokeh? Why, heart bokeh of course! I've always wanted to make my own heart bokeh filter, but until I get around to it, I suppose I'll sit back and continue to enjoy these. :)

Splendidly Feminine

 

For the weekend, I'm leaving you with the most splendidly feminine photo I do believe I've ever laid eyes on. It reminds me of tea parties and playing dress-up when I was young. Just gorgeous.
 

A Closer Look at Robert Best's Vintage-Inspired Barbie Illustrations

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In continuation from yesterday, I thought I'd show you a closer peek at Robert Best's illustrations. To me, the manner in which the hair and eyes are drawn just... make each piece.  After further researching the artist, I found an entire calendar of these gorgeous sketches right here! 

Furthermore, I learned about an entire line of *collector* barbies called Silkstone. This collection was introduced in 2000 and is still in production today. Each piece in the Silkstone collection evokes the 1960's in clothing style and features. Want to start collecting them? Be prepared to spend $160-$250 per doll on eBay. I think perhaps I'll stick with the calendar.
