Happy Independence Day, ladies and gentlemen! I've spent a great deal of time compiling some of the most festive 4th of July finds to share with you. In the spirit of 'independence', every single thing you see here is handcrafted by an independent artisan. They have put so much time, love and effort into these amazing pieces, creating them one step at a time with their own two hands. Remember to support people like the artisans behind these pieces and buy handmade as much as you can! It's worth it to know that you're supporting fellow citizens who have the freedom to follow their dreams and support themselves doing what they truly love. It shows in their work and you can feel proud that you're doing your share to contribute to the American dream.
Each photo is linked to the artisan's shop, where these fabulous things may be purchased and where you may also read more about the creative person behind the piece.
Did you like these? I do hope so.
Last night, I was surrounded by tiki torches, a gazillion lawn chairs, the smell of fireworks, the best potato salad in the world, and about fifteen happy children waving sparklers and watching fireworks. I'm so thankful that my son is making these happy memories as he grows up. :)
Have a wonderful 4th of July and remember to check back on Monday to see who landed the Artisan Made Monday feature! As always, if you'd like to nominate someone (or yourself!) to be featured, please send me a link!
