Last night we were privledged enough to have our first freeze of the year... (All right, my voice was dripping with sarcasm on that one.) All of the plants were potted in their temporary winter homes, the temperature control on the wall was turned to 'heat' for the first time in months, and the water was left dripping in the faucets so the pipes didn't freeze. (Yes, yes, I know. This wastes water. I'm a tree-hugger too, to some extent. However, if a pipe burst, a heck of a lot more water would be wasted. End of arguement.)
Now, who wants to walk around with a naked, chilly neck now that the weather has dipped into the lower digits on the thermometer? Perhaps not so much... right?
Try one of these. They're all handmade. All on Etsy. All fabulous.
This particular scarf is from The Little Room. Her scarves sell out super-fast, but there is supposed to be a shop update sometime this week. If you start stalking her shop, you won't be the only one!
This chic ensemble hails from Bonzie, an Irish fashion label with a romantic vintage appeal. Check out her blog for updates on new designs!
If one is seeking uncluttered, organic appeal, look up Fray. Amazing croched scarves made to order. Want something even more unique? The owner is always happy to take custom requests.
Not a fan of long, bulky scarves? Tickled Pink Knits carries this luxurious hand knitted treat which is a blend of pure wool and silky bamboo, complete with hand-crocheted flowers on the tassels!
Created from 100% hand/kettle-dyed South American Wool, all scarves from David's Knits have an amazing not-going-anywhere, classic style. Also, check out the mother-daughter scarf combos in his shop!
Home Lab aptly describes this Grecian company! Innovative scarf design at its best, I tell you. The shop is home to several one-of-a-kind designs. I seriously love them all. (Pssst, there is a really trendy black scarf in the shop right now which is exactly like this one, but they can be created in any color you choose!)
Last but most certainly not least, his handknit cable-twist scarf is just what the cold weather ordered! Each of the scarves from Bombshell Studios would provide just the perfect pop of color to a chilly winter day!
Well everyone, I hope you enjoyed looking at these seven scarf picks as much as I enjoyed finding them. Raising my latte to the warm and cozy winter ahead!
XO,
Delaney
Edited to add: Remember the custom blog banner design giveaway I had a while ago? The lovely and talented Danielle Flanders won, and requested something aqua and red, swirly and flourishy, yet shabby: Check out her blog to see what the end product was! (You'll get lost there in all of her inspiration- she creates amazing stuff, let me tell you!)

Ooooooh, that first one is totally me...thanks for sharing!

OK...I want that last pink scarf, it has my name written all over it...we've been having warm, warm days, but dipping into the high teens at night. The check-out at the store is by the door, and in the dead of winter...I'm usually not to be standing here without a scarf, so thanks for the links!! :)
